Golden Penny Hosts First-Ever Food Festival in Enugu to Engage Consumers and Celebrate Nigerian Cuisine

Golden Penny Foods, a leading brand under Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN), successfully held its inaugural Golden Penny Food Festival in Enugu, marking a significant milestone in the company’s mission to strengthen its connection with consumers across Nigeria, particularly in the Eastern region.

Held at Ngwo Park, Uwani, the festival drew a large and diverse crowd, including families, students, food lovers, the media, and young people. The event featured food tastings, live cooking demonstrations, product showcases, and interactive games, giving attendees a fun and immersive experience while learning more about the Golden Penny brand and its products.

This first of its kind event in the region was not only a celebration of food but also a clear reflection of Golden Penny’s core values of nourishment, accessibility, and consumer engagement. The brand used the opportunity to interact directly with the community and reinforce its long-standing relationship with its loyal customer base.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Devlin Hainsworth, Managing Director of Golden Penny Foods Limited, described the festival as a celebration of the brand’s wide variety of nutritious and high-quality food products, developed to meet the evolving tastes and nutritional needs of Nigerian consumers.

“We are deeply thankful for the impressive turnout in Enugu. It reflects the trust and loyalty our consumers have shown us over the years. This journey of excellence and nourishment is one we are proud to continue across generations,” Hainsworth stated.

The festival also emphasized Golden Penny’s ongoing commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and community involvement.
