Afrobeats star Davido has reignited his public exchange with Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, after reacting to a social media post shared by the governor.
The singer took issue with a post Okpebholo published on Monday, August 10, in which the governor spoke about meeting with All Progressives Congress leaders and members from the 18 local government areas of Edo State.
In the post, Okpebholo said the meeting was an opportunity to appreciate party members for their support and reaffirm his administration’s commitment to grassroots governance.
Davido, however, responded with a brief but sarcastic remark, questioning whether the governor personally wrote the message.
“There’s no way in heaven he typed this.”
The singer’s comment quickly attracted attention on social media, with fans and other users offering different interpretations of his reaction.
