The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, recently visited the Enugu Onitsha Expressway to check how far the road construction has gone. During his visit, he expressed his disappointment over the slow pace of work and warned the contractors to speed up or face serious consequences.

- Any company that is not serious will be removed from the project
- He will continue visiting sites across Nigeria to check road works
