Bold Reforms, Bigger Projects, How Tinubu’s Policies Aid Enugu

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has praised President Bola Tinubu for making bold and tough decisions to improve Nigeria.

Speaking at the Enugu Government House during a visit by the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, and other top officials, Mbah said these decisions have helped states like Enugu grow and take on major projects.

He explained that before Tinubu became president, Enugu often struggled to pay salaries, let alone start big development projects. But now, the state can pay workers and still fund massive projects, thanks to policies like the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of exchange rates.

Governor Mbah said Enugu is currently: Building 7,000 new, fully equipped classrooms in “Smart Green Schools” with robotics, AI centres, and virtual reality studios.

Constructing 260 modern primary healthcare centres, each with staff housing and solar power, to give rural communities 24 hour healthcare.

He also thanked President Tinubu for approving the concession of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, which will make its international wing fully operational and turn it into a major aviation hub.

Mbah assured that Enugu State will continue to support the president’s programs, saying they share similar goals of grassroots development.

Earlier, Minister Idris said the federal government team was in Enugu to meet with the people and inspect federal projects.

Those present included Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga, NAN Managing Director Ali Mohammed Ali, NOA DG Lanre Issa Onilu, VON DG Jibrin Ndace, NTA DG Salihu Abdulhamid, and FRCN DG Muhammad Bulama.
