Cynthia Morgan Criticises VDM Over P-Square Family Dispute

By Isaac Mission

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has criticised social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his involvement in the ongoing dispute involving P-Square members Peter and Paul Okoye and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Morgan shared her views on Instagram, questioning VDM’s approach to the highly publicised family disagreement and whether his intervention had achieved anything toward resolving the conflict.

Morgan questions VDM’s involvement

The singer suggested that VDM should have focused his energy on other pursuits rather than inserting himself into the dispute.

Morgan claimed that she had previously advised the activist to pursue formal education, saying she believed it could help him channel his confidence and energy more constructively.

She also questioned his decision to speak with some of the people involved in the disagreement while allegedly distancing himself from Peter Okoye.

Singer challenges activist

Morgan further challenged VDM to explain what he had achieved by getting involved in the dispute.

According to her, someone who presents himself as fearless and capable of confronting difficult situations should be able to help bring conflicting parties closer to a resolution.

She consequently described VDM as a “false fearless man”, expressing dissatisfaction with how he had handled the situation.

Her comments have added another voice to the growing public debate surrounding VDM’s intervention in the long-running P-Square family controversy.

Fans react

Morgan’s post generated reactions from social media users, with some questioning why VDM became involved in the family matter in the first place.

Some commenters criticised the activist’s approach, while others defended his right to express his views on the dispute.

The controversy comes amid a series of public exchanges involving Peter Okoye, Paul Okoye and Jude Okoye, with celebrities and social media personalities continuing to weigh in.

P-Square dispute continues to attract attention

The disagreement within the Okoye family has remained a major subject of discussion among Nigerian music fans.

An old interview involving Paul Okoye has also resurfaced amid the latest developments. In the interview, Paul discussed his relationship with Peter and recalled an incident from their younger years, prompting renewed conversations about the brothers’ long-standing bond.

For now, the dispute remains unresolved, while public figures such as Cynthia Morgan and VDM continue to attract attention for their positions on the matter.
