Popular Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, widely known as Poco Lee, has finally broken his silence following his recent release on bail in the United Kingdom. Speaking during a video call with well-known social media commentator VeryDarkMan, the energetic performer maintained strong mental composure throughout his ordeal because he knew deep down that he was completely innocent of the allegations leveled against him.
The legal case involving the entertainer stemmed from his visit to the UK in August, where he had traveled to perform at the Davido and Friends concert held at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London. Following events in the UK, he faced severe scrutiny and legal challenges. However, after spending time away and subsequently securing bail, Poco Lee opened up about what bothered him the most during the difficult period.
According to the dancer, his primary source of anxiety was not even his own predicament, but rather the welfare of his close associates and friends.
He explained that people working closely with him, such as Rahman Jago, were unable to carry out normal business activities due to the situation, and he felt deeply stressed about causing any inconvenience to them. He emphasized that if he had truly committed any wrong, he would have felt like he was merely paying for his sins. Instead, because his conscience was entirely clear, his mind remained pure and resilient.
During the conversation, Poco Lee also took the opportunity to express deep appreciation to those who stood firmly by him when things became complicated. He specifically mentioned award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy and other close friends who showed loyalty and support. He noted that many people would normally distance themselves from someone facing such heavy controversies, but Burna Boy and his guys chose to show genuine support.
Social commentator VeryDarkMan, who shared footage of their video interaction online, also weighed in on the matter. He questioned some of the dramatic narratives circulating across social media regarding the dancer and praised both Burna Boy and Rahman Jago for proving to be true friends during a major crisis.
As the legal process continues, the Snaresbrook Crown Court has scheduled further proceedings, including a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Legal representatives and prosecutors note that the case remains active, and Poco Lee has not been officially convicted of any crime. For now, fans and supporters are relieved to see the dancer speak out, clear his mind, and look forward to the resolution of the matter.
