Air Peace to Start Abuja to London Flights in October

Abuja, July 21, 2025  Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, has announced that it will begin direct flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports starting October 26, 2025.

This makes Air Peace the first Nigerian airline to offer direct flights from the nation's capital to both of London’s major international airports.

According to the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo Whiskey, passengers flying from any of Air Peace’s local destinations across Nigeria can now book a single ticket that connects them through Abuja to either Heathrow or Gatwick. This means travelers won’t need to book separate tickets or worry about checking in their baggage multiple times.

She also added that passengers flying from London can now easily reach many cities in Nigeria such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba through Abuja on a single Air Peace ticket. More cities will be added later.

Air Peace says this new Abuja–London service is another big step in making international air travel easier and more affordable for Nigerians. The airline is offering round trip tickets starting from ₦1 million, with strong local connections to several Nigerian cities.

The airline also noted its ongoing efforts to improve air travel in Africa by launching important international routes and making travel more convenient for Nigerians.
