A tragic incident has been reported after a married woman identified as Joy was found dead in a hotel room following a meeting with a man she met online.

Joy, a 30-year-old mother of two, was reportedly in contact with the man through social media. According to reports, she had told the man that she was a single mother struggling to take care of her children. The man allegedly promised to support her and help provide for the kids.

Sources say Joy’s husband had previously said that she was involved in online relationships. However, whenever he confronted her about suspicious messages on her phone, she reportedly denied the allegations and insisted that the man was only a customer related to her small business.

Her husband later revealed that Joy had often expressed a desire for a more comfortable and luxurious lifestyle, something he said he was struggling to provide despite his efforts to support the family.

Reports indicate that the suspect had asked Joy to meet him at a hotel and requested that she bring along their second baby, claiming he wanted to buy some baby items for the child.

On the day of the incident, Joy reportedly told her husband she was visiting a friend. Instead, she went to the hotel to meet the man. During their meeting, it was reported that she consumed a large amount of alcohol.

Authorities believe the suspect later attacked her and left the hotel with the baby.

Hotel staff reportedly discovered Joy’s lifeless body when it was time for checkout. After finding her phone in the room, they contacted her husband, who was shocked to learn about the incident.

The tragic case has left the family devastated as they mourn the loss of Joy while also dealing with the disappearance of their child.

The incident serves as a reminder for people to be cautious when forming relationships online, as not everyone on the internet is who they claim to be.
