There was panic this afternoon in Enugu following a fire outbreak at the First Bank of Nigeria branch located opposite the popular Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire started suddenly, raising fears of possible destruction of valuable properties, including large sums of money in different currencies.
However, the situation was quickly brought under control due to the prompt intervention of the Enugu State Fire Service. Their rapid response helped to contain the fire before it could escalate into a major disaster.
