Breaking: Fatal Accident Along Enugu–PH Expressway Leaves Many Feared Dead

By Peace Orjiani

A tragic accident along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway has reportedly claimed the lives of several passengers, following a fatal crash that occurred earlier today.

According to eyewitness accounts, the vehicle lost control, skidded off the road, and burst into flames. The fire, described as intense and uncontrollable, engulfed the bus within moments, leaving no chance for escape.

Due to the fire's intensity, bystanders and sympathizers who rushed to the scene could not help. Witnesses reported that the flames were too fierce, forcing onlookers to watch helplessly as the victims remained trapped inside the burning vehicle.

The full number of casualties has not yet been officially confirmed, and authorities have yet to release a detailed statement regarding the incident at the time of filing this report.

The Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway is a major highway linking several southeastern states and has witnessed multiple fatal accidents in recent times, often linked to loss of control, speeding, and poor road conditions.

Emergency responders are expected to investigate the cause of the crash.
